Collaboration Basics: How We Work Together
Ongoing Support: For teams looking for deeper transformation, preferred rates are available for recurring quarterly sessions or annual retainer agreements.
Tailored Content: Every engagement includes a discovery call. My goal is to ensure the “Key Takeaways” are directly applicable to your team’s current challenges.
Travel & Logistics: For events outside of the SF Bay Area, I ask for the following to ensure I can arrive rested and ready to deliver:
Lodging: A standard business-class hotel (4-star or higher) located near the venue.
Transport: Reliable, professional ground transportation for airport and venue transfers to ensure on-time arrival.
Meals & Incidentals: A modest $80 daily meal stipend (when meals aren’t provided by the event) and coverage of airport parking/transit costs up to $30.
The Power of Intentionality: You’ll notice my pricing follows a pattern of lucky numbers. I lead with this same intentionality and positive energy in every project I touch.
Recording & Media
- Photography: I encourage event photography! I only ask for copies of the high-resolution images for my portfolio and website (raheeladharani.com).
- Video Recording: Please notify me in advance if the session will be recorded. I typically request a raw copy of the footage for archival and promotional use.
To ensure your presentation is as precise and impactful as the projects you manage, here is a Technical & Room Rider.
This document is designed to be sent to event organizers and AV teams after a booking is confirmed. It frames your needs as “success factors” to ensure the audience gets the best possible experience.
Raheela Dharani | Technical & Presentation Requirements
Ensuring a Seamless Experience for Your Audience
To deliver a high-energy, high-impact session, I have a few standard technical requirements. These ensure that the focus remains on the content and the connection with your team.
Audio & Visual (AV)
- Microphone: A wireless lavalier (lapel) microphone is preferred to allow for movement and audience engagement. If a lavalier is unavailable, a wireless handheld microphone is a great second option.
- Presentation Format: Slides are designed in 16:9 (Widescreen) format. I will provide the final deck via a download link or on a flash drive 48 hours prior to the event.
- Sound: If the presentation includes video, I will require a direct audio connection (3.5mm jack or HDMI) to the house sound system.
- Confidence Monitor: If the stage is large, a confidence monitor at the foot of the stage showing the “Current Slide” and “Timer” is greatly appreciated.
- Remote/Clicker: I will provide my own wireless slide remote, but it is helpful to have a backup available on-site.
Stage & Room Environment
- Stage Setup: I prefer an open stage for maximum movement. If a lectern or podium is on stage, please ensure there is space to move away from it.
- Hydration: Two bottles of room-temperature water (still, not sparkling) available on a small table or the lectern.
- Lighting: The stage should be brightly lit so the audience can see facial expressions, while ensuring the projector screen remains clear and vibrant.
- Connectivity: High-speed Wi-Fi access in the speaking room is helpful for any real-time polling or interactive elements.
Logistical Synergy
- Sound Check: I request a 15-minute sound and tech check at least one hour before the doors open to the audience.
Supplies
